Wine Trail Weekends: November

The Madera Vintners Association’s family wineries will host the Madera Wine Trail’s “Holiday Spirit Weekend” on November 11 through 12, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Start off your Holiday season festivities on the Wine Trail! Enjoy wine tasting at *participating wineries, live music, delicious food and specialty gift shopping! 

How it Works

With your ticket, start your tour at any participating winery, either Saturday or Sunday. At the winery you will receive a passport wine glass & wristband good for wine tasting all weekend - both days! Taste a wide variety of local wines as you visit each participating winery on the Madera Wine Trail, and enjoy other activities and food which are available.

Transportation is not included in your ticket. Designated Drivers are always welcome and encouraged on the Madera Wine Trail, and they are always FREE of charge! Please notify the check-in table at your first stop on the Trail to receive your complimentary pass. CLICK HERE for other transportation recommendations. Ticket Information

Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 the day of the event. Advance tickets may be purchased online or at San Joaquin Wine Company or Toca Madera Winery. Tickets are available the days of the event online or at San Joaquin Wine Company or Toca Madera Winery. To expedite your check-in process when arriving, we suggest purchasing your tickets in advance online.

When you complete your ticket purchase online, you will be emailed a ticket. Please show your printed ticket, or ticket by smartphone, to any *participating winery any time during the event, Saturday and/or Sunday between 10 am- 5 pm. At the event when you present your ticket at that winery location you will be given a wristband and wine glass. The wristband will allow you entrance to all of the participating wineries throughout both days of the event.

Fasi Estate Winery - 42415 Road 208, 3 miles north of Highway 145 just off Highway 41 on Road 208.

The team at Fäsi Estate Winery would like to invite you to kick off the holidays with us on November 11th and 12th from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. We will be showcasing three newly released wines for this Madera Wine Trail event. Our 2016 Grenache Blanc will be paired with Dubliner cheese and crisp green apple slices. The 2016 Syrah Rosé is a must to try, paired with juicy melon bites. We will also be pouring our 2015 Malbec, which we will be pairing with decadent Swiss chocolates. All three of these wines would pair perfectly with your holiday feasts. We look forward to helping you get one purchase out of the way early. Don’t forget to bring your family and friends. There is no better time to visit Fäsi Estate Winery. Ficklin Vineyards – Start your days on Wine Trail at Ficklin Vineyards!  Join us for brunch in our courtyard; and while you're here, taste an assortment of our award-winning Ports. Enjoy delicious samples from some of the best artesian vendors in the Valley. We'll have great pairing ideas and recipes for holiday treats to make entertaining easy, and we'll offer special purchases perfect for holiday giving.  Make reservations for intimate tours of our historic Adobe building, constructed in 1946 and containing casks going back to the early 1800's.

Space is limited for tours at 10:30, 11:30 and 12:30.

We'll be closing for general wine tasting at 2:00 as we prepare for our VIP seminars on Port to be held at 3:00 and 4:00 pm--call us for information and tickets at (559) 661-0075.

Idle Hour Winery - 41139 Highway 41, Oakhurst - details to be announced

PAPAGNI WINES Desiring to create a memorable “Holiday Spirit Weekend” for tasting room visitors on November 11 th and 12 th , (from 10-5pm) Papagni Wines will combine the pouring of selected award-winning wines with yummy Italian Biscotti Cookies from Noni Julie’s Biscottis, hand-crafted chocolates from Fab Delights, various dishes created by Executive Chef, Sherry Rovenstine with Central Valley Caterers, and Soul Full of Heart Author Claude Ball signing copies of his book, plus exhibits from local artists within the celebratory atmosphere of the upcoming Holiday Season. Papagni’s bold reds (2011 Alicante Bouschet and 2015 Barbera), refreshing whites (2015 Pinot Grigio and 2015 Grenache Rose), and special dessert wines (2016 Muscat and 2003 Alicante Bouschet Dessert), will be enjoyed. Updated information on recently-released wines will be provided at the sales desk, and escorted winery tours will be available upon request. San Joaquin Wine Company - 21821 Avenue 16, Madera
It’s the most WINE-derful time of the year, and we can't wait to share what we have in store for you during the Holiday Spirit Wine Trail! We will be releasing our brand new dry Rosé, as well as new vintages of our Zinfandel and Sauv Blanc. Get a head start on your holiday shopping needs with Deckerate Dot modern calligraphy, Miners Mix rubs & seasonings, LuLaRoe clothing, You Sweet Thing jams & jellies, and a variety of goodies from Chickies Tasty Treats! We will have Gastro Grill on-site to keep your stomach happy while you sip and shop, and live music from Rhythm Review on Saturday from 12-4pm. As always, we will have a wide variety of our wines to pour and great discounts for attendees!
